Biking in Val d’Ega is going to be and awesome experience. We begin our ebike tour with the exciting descent on the Carezza Trail. This long single track, with bumps and dips, walkways and fun passages that are never excessively technical, descends to Nova Levante.
By exploring the panoramic path above Nova Levante and then tackling the regular climb on the forest road that crosses the Fossa dei Lupi, you arrive at the panoramic Pardellerhof farm. You then reach the Larchenwald hut slightly downhill and go up again, on trail sign number 1.
Riding your e bike along a series of comfortable forest roads, you initially stay on the wooded watershed that separates the Ega and Tires valleys, passing in sequence the Schiller and Hagner hut to arrive at the Nigra pass. It is in this area that the view opens onto the wonderful surrounding peaks, from the nearby and imposing Catinaccio to the more distant Scilliar and Latemar.
The climb continues in the shadow of the Catinaccio until it reaches the Mesner meadows and then descends near the Frommer hut and thus concludes the ebike tour.
The Val d’Ega is an area made up of dense forests, enchanting farms nestled on emerald green meadows and surrounded by Dolomite peaks. All this creates a suggestive and enchanting scenario that accompanies you on this e bike tour to discover the Nigra pass and the wonderful,recently created Carezza Trail.
