We start this e bike tour From Carbonin and then we will deviate towards Pratopiazza and finally cross the vast plateau at the foot of the Croda Rossa, marvelous in its thousand shades of colour. You then continue towards Lake Breies, until you reach it with gentle slopes. The mirror of crystal clear water nestled between the rocks of Croda del Beco will offer an unforgettable spectacle. The return takes place on an asphalt road and cycle path up to Carbonin.

Biking to Lago di Braies is an awesome ebike tour if you want to discover by emtb one of the famous lake in the Dolomites area.

After starting our ebike tour from Carbonin we will  deviate for Pratopiazza following a path that has a pleasant and easy climb. At first you climb through the woods, then the vegetation becomes sparser, up to below the Vallandro hut which remains perched on a hill, once dominated by a fort.

The following stretch crosses the vast plateau at the foot of the Croda Rossa, marvelous in its thousand shades of colour.

You then continue towards Braies Lake, until you reach it with gentle slopes.

The mirror of crystal clear water nestled between the rocks of Croda del Beco will offer an unforgettable spectacle. Located at 1496 meters above sea level, Lake Braies boasts a surface area of 31 hectares and a maximum depth of 36 meters and is the largest lake in the Dolomites.

Its origins are rooted in legend. It is said of savages who came to the mountains of the Braies Valley in search of precious stones and gold. When they managed to find something of great value, they sparked the envy of the shepherds of the valley, who tried to rob them. However, to protect the loot, the savages opened underground fountains and then hid the treasure in Lake Braies, giving it the brilliant color that we can admire today.

The return takes place on an asphalt road and cycle path up to Carbonin.

Specific bike clothing is not essential but trousers with pads and gloves are advisable. Better to dress with a thermal t-shirt and a fleece and bring a wind stopper jacket

Technical shoes / comfortable sneakers for cycling. Those who have their own equipment (helmet, shoes, pedals) can take it with them

Windproof/rainproof jacket, fleece, spare t-shirt, sunglasses, sunscreen (in summer), snacks, energy bars, bottle of water.

If the e bike tour includes the use of ski lifts, in addition to the cost of the tour and bike rental, the price of the lift must be considered, which varies from time to time based on the number and type of lifts used.

Certainly ! If you participate with your own e-bike, you must bring your own helmet, charge the battery and check the condition of the e-bike at home (brakes, tire pressure, suspension, puncture kit…).

In caso di completo annullamento dell’attività, questa verrà riprogrammata in accordo con la Guida per un data successiva.

It is possible to participate with a  mountain bike but this must be agreed upon with the guide when booking. An individual ad hoc tour will then be planned based on the participant’s requests. It is also possible to book in a group as long as everyone participates with a mountain bike. There are no mixed groups (mtb  and electric mtb)

The possibility of physically carrying out the activity depends on some environmental parameters and specific situations.

A few days before the tour, the Guide will check the weather conditions.

In case of impossibility to carry out the activity due to bad weather, the Guide will promptly notify the participants. The Guide reserves the right to make changes or cancellations to the original program in order to follow up on the booking previously made. To this end, the Guide reserves the right to partially modify the activity (meeting time, route followed, etc.)

In case of complete cancellation of the activity, it will be rescheduled in accordance with the Guide for a later date.

Lo specchio di acqua cristallina incastonato tra le rocce della Croda del Beco, offrirà uno spettacolo indimenticabile. Il rientro avviene su strada asfaltata e pista ciclabile fino a Carbonin.

Il tour percorre a 360° il massiccio del Latemar, regalando suggestivi panorami dolomitici. Tour di mezza giornata che da Alba di Canazei con una fitta serpentina tra i boschi porta dapprima presso baita Locia Contrin e poi su sentiero più pianeggiante si attraversa una zona di boschi più radi fino ad arrivare agli ampi pascoli della valle e al rifugio Contrin che si erge in un bosco di radi larici. Il rientro avviene lungo il percorso di andata.

Un tour al cospetto delle Pale di San Martino.
